  1. Since the last week of March, Mon;ero has seen exponential growth. A low of $204 seen during March 25 and a high of $438 a week ago represented gains of over 110% and for the last few sessions, the rally was kept at bay under the $440-mark and some bearishness was noted in the market. According to Awesome Oscillator’s red bars, momentum was on the bearish side, but the hourly timeframe did see a positive switch up. A strong region of support lay at $388 and maintain this would allow for a breakout above $440. Meanwhile, ADX rested at 15 and highlighted a weak trend. The 24-hour trading volumes jumped by 40% in the last 24-hours but were yet to touch $1 Billion. Expect some sideways movement before the volumes jump further because the v0latility nature of the crpytO asset is a plus for trαders because it's good for trαdiing and if trαdes are placed correctly that's constant profits which in turn increases your portfolio, which is why I copy trade with Burwell Coleman because his trαde signals are the most accurate and I have been making 6btc every month for the last eight months in a row. His on ահαեsαթթ (+44 7723 022159) and Gm@il (burwellcolemanfinance@gmailcom). Burwell is so good that I can attest to the accuracy of his trαde s!gnαls which is why I would recommend him for any trαder looking to stay profitable.

  2. Hey Rob it's bad for Aussies too. When I 1st came to Thailand it was 33 baht to the Aussie dollar & now 20.85 Think I'll go to Cambodia next trip. Went there 3 years ago & quite good. But not as good as Thailand.

  3. money is a good servant but a bad master, if it hurts the bank it will go back nice vid.i know here in fabulous Puerto Rico you can live a very good life on far far less than the states

  4. I don't think it's just the baht hitting tourism. You have strong baht + inflation on the ground + new visa rules + general decline in friendliness to foreigners, etc. I'm personally spending about half as much time in Thailand as I used too. Not because of any one reason. More all the reasons compounding into Thailand just isn't the place I want to spend all my free time.

  5. This is due to Dollar Carry Trade. You will see the collapse of the Thai baht soon. You play with Dollar you will get burned. It's called "Sheep Shearing".

  6. On the other hand, American goods are now a whole lot cheaper… You might want to think about stockpiling Cheese… American Cheese!…(and other dairy products) LOL I don't know. I have to assume a strong Baht is as good for Thailand just as a strong dollar is good for America. If so, I'm all for a strong Baht even if it inconveniences the foreigners in Thailand. Thanks, Rob!

  7. Not only against the US dollar but against all other currencies to a point that tourists are stoping to come to Thailand. Thai product cost too much and industries will leave. Thai people are losing their job now !

  8. The Baht is Asia's best performing currency….

    In two years…
    SEK is down 24%
    AUD is down 23%
    NOK is down 21%
    RUB is down 20%
    INR is down 17%
    GBP is down 17%
    EUR is down 14%

Seems a bit weird to focus on the USD (yes I understand you're a Seppo) which is actually one of the best performing currencies against the Baht…..

    Just saying.

  9. If Thai baht increases, my USD can buy less things ? Also if Thai baht increases, this can mean less tourists, which implies in an economy geared towards tourisim. I should be able to get a better deal on lodging, food, etc… As business compete for a limited share of tourist money ? Many enough of a deal to offset the recent increases in baht ?? …or am I overthinking this :/

  10. When I was a GI during the war I lived in Thailand for two and a half years 73 to 76 it was twenty baht to the dollar. I lived off base and paid $30.00 a month rent and $5.00 for electric a month, it was small and no A/C or TV and certainly no internet. I loved it there and consider it the best time in my life. I have always wanted to go back and live the rest of my life there. I will be getting about $1,650.00 a month on my social security in two years at age 70. I have no desire to live in Bangkok, I don't even like Chicago maybe some place like Lop Buri or even smaller. If things are not possible in Thailand maybe I will end up in Viet-Nam or Cambodia. I didn't care much for the Philippines my self.

  11. We have Brexit killing the pound and with the strong Thai bht, The UK is struggling. We bought some land in Khon Kaen about 13 years ago and it was 76 bht to the pound! Today its 37.3 It must be a struggle if you are on a fixed income and living in Thailand.

  12. Rob, I love your page, you are, 1 of the few Youtubers, that has answered a question, for me and it was for my kids, so I will be forever grateful, to you, for that. The USD, is roughly the same in the Philippines, and I just looked up, the Thai Baht, is at 30-1 right now. So, the Thai Baht, is down 1% since I looked last. The Phil Peso, is at 51-1, right now, which is up now, as it was 49-1, just a month ago, (I have a fiancé in the Philippines that I send money too 1 or 2 times a month) however, my 1st choice was Thailand, so I look at both. But great video, on a topic most smart folks, really want to know about. Love your videos, and your a great person and keep up the great videos.
    Ron

  13. Hello my friend. I wish you well. Since I first visited Thailand while in the USAF in the 70’s I have always loved it. I have had wonderful times on my recent visits to Pattaya, Bangkok and Phuket and hope to return for another vacation soon. Despite the current exchange rate situation, I still think Thailand can be a great value for folks with USD.

Having said that, I am not so sure about living there for long periods of time. I love Mexico and the dollars value against the Mexican peso has behaved in the reverse in the past few years. What I mean is my dollars have gained significantly against the peso. Add to that the proximity of Mexico to the USA (I can reach the border in about 70 minutes by car) and the drier, more comfortable climate and Thailand loses it’s appeal to me as a place for long term retirement.

Of course, no one can say what the future financial markets will do.

  14. Got to say, when I started visiting in 2005 the best I got was 74 to the £ as it now creeps below 40 the next holiday edges further away. I understand that the high figure was a result of the tsunami, but surely the reduction in western tourism will have an impact sooner rather than later. I am thinking that the Chinese and Indians are generally not big spenders going by the tour parties I've seen following a flag on a stick! 😊 And to think we were complaining about 50 to the £. 555

  15. Thai baht won't depreciate versus the US dollar soon: the thai central bank has not cut interest rates, unlike other countries in SE Asia (Philippines and Indonesia) and the country's current account surplus differentiates it among other SE Asia nations.

  16. Thai bank has taken some measures – reduction in bond sales, and restriction on foreign capital inflows above a certain amount to prevent short term speculators. As its the desire of Thai Central bank for stability I would agree that long term stabilzation between 31-32. It hit 36 to 1 USD over 3 years ago when I arrived. Factors: a weakening chinese economy causing global recession, and/or damage to Thai crops from water shortages and corn worms, all could have an effect on a downturn on the THB in my opinion. Rain needs to fill the reservoirs or there is going to be some serious issues. Some people have discussed other currencies ie EUR/THB and GBP/THB. Brexit man, that is the drag on the pound, and EUR same factors as above re global economic situation, on this recession when it comes I suppose the Q becomes does the dollar gain on being a safe haven or not.

  17. According to the 2019 big mac index, it says the THB is 32% UNDERVALUED, and if the exchange rate keeps going up, you won't be having fries, with that.

  18. There are 2 separate issues. The Western world central banks are printing too much money (quantitative easing?) which reduces the value of their currency. Whilst at the same time the Baht is over-valued (and has been for more than 10 years), however as soon as the international Manufacturers (like Honda/Kawasaki etc) realise that their plants in Thailand are too expensive and move them to 'Say' India, Cambodia or Indonesia (or wherever) the Baht will have to drop, which would definately increase the ' spending' Tourist (i.e. not Chinese) numbers in TH. Also Thai inflation (for tourists at least) seems to have affected many of the things Western tourists use the most.

  19. Good vlogs
Will food on the street drop too
    50 baht good price before
Will Thai people who sell food understand this drop in there prices drop to bring customers back???
I still think very good price
And I want Thai people make money

  20. GREG N Indiana—- Thanks Rob for the quality production, and topic. Your point of view concerning THAILAND makes things very interesting for me. Please take care and keep putt'in out da vid-eee-ooo-ssss. PEACE

  21. its a lot more complicated, the Thai motor vehicles are built for other country manufacturers remember. where are the foreigners travelling to instead? the exchange rate change of 5 per cent would not affect my decision.

  22. According to the site and app Xe that deals with exchange rates, the Thai Baht has increased 8.18% in one year. I was in Thailand this year and it's definitely become more expensive.

  23. The Govt will have to make a serious decision sooner or later because it's having a major impact on the economy and really driving prices up in a big way. I believe that's the sole reason you're not seeing anywhere near the number of tourists from a year or more ago. It's completely understandable because naturally as a tourist you generally would be going to a destination where you get some bang for your buck. The examples you gave being Philippines and Indonesia are a no brainer. You're absolutely going to to be better off financially travelling there in the current situation
