OAuth 2.0: An Overview
Excellent tutorial 👌 the best one on oauth. Thanks a ton
superb explanation, simple and easy to understand. Nice work
Came here after struggling with other videos.
Hi everyone from Hyperskill
How does the server know that it is "Sarah" making the request, since user credentials arent send along the calls. What prevents the "MyBucks" application from making calls for other users besides "Sarah".
Not good presentation
Very well explained, thank you
Amazing explanation.
Where is the login from Sarah at the Memorail Bank which she have to proceed? Without the login at the memorial bank, they dont knwo which token belongs to which account.
Short and clear explanation of OAuth 2.0 ..
Nice, easy and straightforward!
Awesome video with clear explanation on how all of this works. Thank you
Not at all clear what happens in your client app versus the app server.
Thanks a lot ….

Great video. Thanks. For folks totally new to the concept, listen at 0.75 speed 🙂
How does this work when you cannot use a webbrowser?
This is exactly how a corporate tutorial sounds like. meh
What a fantastic tutorial ! Best ever.
It sucks because all I need to do is make a simple fetch request. Entirely over complicated with this type of infrastructure. I literally want to console log a data response and use the data in an app but there are several layers to get passed with credentials to access that data. Isn’t even private, it’s public. You could get data faster using a crawler for that case I guess, but working with the api itself shouldn’t be that complicated. Shouldn’t have to sign in, to be redirected, to then do a handshake for a token, to then be able to use for the query I pass. It should just be there with an api key. I want to fetch products on Kroger’s site and they have oauth2.
is anyone able to explain better why not skip authorization grant?
The best thing on this topic.
Awesome explanation! 😀
Thanks a bunch!!
Sorry, but still confusing without real examples. I understood it by building an app with social login and backend that verifies client token.
Excellent explanation of the OAuth2 framework! This makes the whole process a lot more understandable
Chloh
Thanks for useful video. Be useful to know the purpose of a public Client Id, when the private key should be enough to validate the callback?
Easy and Crisp. Thanks for this!
top notch even 4 years later! thanks!
Simple concept but he ll rather tell a long story. lol
I find it's too general and thus not helpful at all.
Finally got it thanks man thanks 🙏
Very good Explanation. 👍

What a mess.
Word-sausage is just so much better than explanations.
In case people still understand just add some random unrelated graphics that can divert attention during crucial parts of the word-sausage.
I case anybody still understands, just speed up speech.
If you at any point feel a need to wiggle you mouse on screen, you have not done this to a sufficient degree.
In this case, try to ad some inexplicable arrows to further divert attention.
Good explanation. Thank you
