Microsoft Outlook | Three Time Saving Tips
These are tips that I picked up from a 'Smarter Not Harder' workshop. Check them out – https://snhsolutions.com/
Just file the CC’s don’t spam people back it’s so passive aggressive and a waste of their energy reading the auto reply.
Liked the vid. Firmly oppose the idea to spam every sender of a CC, now THAT seems to be a waste of company time.
Just a suggestion to update the video title to “Outlook desktop app”. I find myself using more Outlook on the web these days and rarely opens the desktop app.
Would be great if you would do a video comparing the two. Pin to top and snooze are features I use every day in Outlook on the web.
This is so helpful bro. Thank you very much.
Do the rules also work when I do not open the desktop client?
Oh my gosh this has helped so much!! Love the vid man!!!
More of these please!
Tip #1 – Notification, is a most do and I’ve been doing it for the last 10+ years. Best thing ever.
Tip #2 – CC rule – I’m glad that you showed us how to reply, but if I’m cc I normally don’t reply plus it would be a waste of time for the person that has to open and read it. However I’ll start creating rules to move to a cc folder.
Tip #3 – Automate steps, I’m sure there is value, but I don’t see it yet, seems like there are better ways, regardless I had no clue that I could do that, so I’ll have to play with it.
Thanks for the quick 3 tips.
I am yet to brave the CC auto-reply, but I love it. Turned off the notification icon as well. Thanks Matt
