Clicked in here for a M1 take on it, but I think the only thing that differs is faster load times. Everything else is identical to my Intel Mac running Big Sur (UI wise)
what about notifications when the app is close, does it get notifications just like our phone
Why did you not want to full screen it?
Would have preferred to see it in light mode. Dark mode just looks too plain. Hard yo tell much of a difference in the design.

When you open multiple emails windows of outlook, the main outlook mailbox window becomes bigger in size automatically which is really frustrating.

Hello. I am using outlook 2021 on a Mac. I sent an email by mistake. I was able to “edit” it and type in a new message and sent that. I want to make sure that the mistake will not go through. It seems to be ok as I cannot see the mistake. But how do I know if the recipients can see it? I hope not. Please advise. Thank you.
Fernando, I cannot use the New Outlook yet because I use three IMAP accounts simultaneously and those are still not supported in this new interface. This support is scheduled for February though, according to Microsoft Road Map.
You haven't shown anything about the calendar function – this was definitely the weakest part of outlook on Mac. Lots of functions don't work eg you can't click on an appointment with your mouse and just move it into a new date, or easily duplicate it. Invitations you receive as an .ics attachment in an email don't work either ie you can't just drop them in to your calendar.
Hi Fernando, I'm not sure the New Outlook switch is necessarily a new version for Big Sur. It's more an opt-in for new features that was available long before for insider builds before Big Sur was even released. I think you need to double check this. I've had this UI for outlook forever on Mac.

New Outlook looks good and has some nice, new features. However, hosted Exchange, IMAP, iCal, calendars from the address book in your org, certain shared calendar features, flagged email reminders, and many other features did not make it into the new version yet. They have been working on Exchange support for 6+ months during testing, but no progress yet. Only Office 365 works with it, which is crazy if you have a host corporate account or multiple accounts, like me. It seems like features are missing to try to drive people to Office 365 only given the months these features have been missing.
