I'd put a washer/drier in the space underneath the stairs… I'd camouflage it with wooden door in the whole area… we'd have some triangular storage on top for the detergents and hopefully somewhere to put mops/brooms/ vacuums… I'd also make the bedroom clothing storage somehow bigger/longer. Perhaps some window situation near the kitchen sink where we do dishes… THEN this house is PERFECT for me!!

I love a loft but the biggest negative about this space is the dependence upon artificial light. It makes a small space feel…..well, small. The serious lack of natural light (especially in the kitchen!) makes the house feel every inch of its small footprint & is more like a cave.

The stairs steal space from the lounge. The wall were the stairs are, should be for the TV, or another couch/chairs.
The stairs need to move to a place where they really do not get in the way. Perhaps in the kitchen somehow.
