  1. Amazing. Where I am from in England the village I live in and some other local villages have communal food boxes and cupboards with food in them and it’s great, especially for poor people who don’t have much money to buy food. It seems to be very successful and there is lots of food to go around.

  2. Shout out to grocery store workers, : you too can be the connection between stopping food waste and feeding desperate people.
    When you see a need, go to your manager and liaison.
    Managers:::. STEP UP!!!

  3. That's the kind of stuff that I've been looking for, but I can't help to notice a lack or a clear methodology on how to start doing an anarchy… I mean, I kind of have bits and pieces left and right, but I have yet to find some kind of comprehensive guide on the points to acheive and conquer, the pitfalls to avoid, what to look for, the different methods to get people involved…

    Honestly, It's really just that I have a dad that won't shut up about all the what ifs and keeps pointing to all the obstacles that might get in our way… Like, that community fridge, for example, he'd say that it's a nice little initiative, like community gardens, but if people don't actually feel concerned by it it'll just either end up being maintained by just a select few who started it and it'll just be another charity thing instead of actual mutual aid, or it'll just be abandonned… That's what I'm worried about…

    My current plan is to basically work on the base of cell growth, kind of like a cancer for capitalism. The idea is to start by creating just one cell that can start becoming independent from capitalism through mutual aid and autonomy, with something like five people. People could see what we're up to as we try to be helpful to others, and more people could join. Once the cell is at 18 people, the cell splits in two cells that work independently but still mutually aid each other, and then they grow and split again into 4, 8, 16, 32, 64… Until we basically take over the town, all through merely becoming independent from capitalism and the State apparatusses. We then can start to affect change at the scale of our city by perhaps getting a hold of the city council, or not, it depends on what is decided, but securing the local politics and making sure to make them hamless to our movement is a good practice. The bigger we get the more resources and means of production we can secure. The cell conglomerate can then call itself a commune. As this happens, a good practice would be to start sending out people to repeat the process in other communities as to have a few communes so members don't feel trapped inside just one commune if they don't like it. That itterative method could allow us to grow exponentially!

    … But would it even work? Would people be even interested or would they just find it too complicated to take things in charge by themselves? I keep hearing people tell me "people don't care, they just want their little comfort, why would they bother with that?"… I don't know any more…

  4. This is what I wanna see going forward. Helping people, empathy and compassion and no to a selfish idiotic alienating dog eat dog capitalist f*****g society

  5. very cool project and awesome video, its so helpful to just see different forms of direct action and a little background explanation to help copy it 🙂

  6. Oh one more thing before I go, I was looking over an article in regenerationmag.org analyzing the concept of mutual aid vs Solidarity vs Acts of service and I've been meaning to get other leftists thoughts on the matter.

    Do you think you could make a video explaining the difference between these and their goals / ultility?

  7. This is a topic I was actually really interested in a while back but couldn’t really find any good resources/info on, thank you so much for this post!

  8. The action part is where the things really change, so it's important to really show people what they could do in real life besides de theory stuff.

    I hope you do more of this
