  1. Binge watching all your videos Kevin. Thank you life saver. I started a new job as a project coordinator and the emails are killing me. This helps so much!

  2. This is super useful! I love your videos!! Request? I would like to get a better idea of how to even use Outlook. My organization uses Outlook for their default email and its fairly intimidating because there are SO SO many features besides the basic "inbox". Help please! Thanks!

  3. Love your videos, Kevin. They are very informative. Question: Is there a way to clear items sent to your outlook calendar from a class that you were invited to join? Or a way to receive the class link or code, but not have all the classes cluttering my calendar. Help! Thank you in advance!😊

  4. I received this email today from my Principal: what needs to be done to make him happy? Can you check your settings? Everything that you do in Teams is sending me an email. I’ve probably gotten about 15 in the last hour.
I do want to be on everybody’s team as a member, but I don’t necessarily want all the updates. Not sure where it would be in the settings or if maybe it’s on my end

  5. Great summary of how to manage e-mails.
One shortcoming though of the off-line mode, is that you are also not able to move e-mails to your on-line archive… When I go to off-line mode, I usually try to clean up my mailbox, which includes read mails to Archive. Which doesn't work. I'm wondering if there's any good work around for that.

  6. I also turn off the email alert as I have a lot of client meetings that i need to share my screen and I think that is not only a distraction but also not professional when it comes to a client presentation.
Thanks for the video! I enjoyed it a lot and find it very helpful!

  7. Hi Kevin, l love all your videos, thank you for producing them. Tying in with this topic above, is there a way you can set your Focus/DND setting in MS Teams to prevent the ability for someone to send you a message in Chat? I've got all my notifications turned off to avoid distractions but I want it to be like what Skype was, if you had DND set, people couldn't message you in that program and it just went into a Missed Conversation on Outlook. I'm getting distracted seeing the Chat text bolded when I get a new message & I need to keep Teams open to access shared files. I know I could go via Sharepoint to do that but I still want to know if you can stop the Chat!! 😀

  8. Kevin:  I want to use my own original music in a You Tube video with slides w/ lyrics or pix of recording session, etc…possibly even music manuscript theme.   I DO NOT want to use the music in google – I want to use my own.  How do I do this in making my video presentation to put on my channel?  Thank you.

  9. Why does my home ribbon disappear? I have to close Outlook, click Ctrl-Alt-Delete and end the process. When I reopen Outlook the home ribbon is back. It’s annoying.

  10. Hi Kevin 👋
I want to move a mail from inbox to folder after the mail is read. How to write a rule?

Currently have rules to move mails to folder on arrival and I have to go in the folder to read it.

  11. Kevin, where has the policy option gone? What really winds me up is not having the SWEEP option in outlook desktop. So I love the keep for 10 days or keep the latest one and delete other. With policy I was kinda able to do it, but it wasn't as easy or as quick. Any suggestions

  12. One more thing that I do: conditional formatting > custom fonts > if my name is in the email body. Helps a lot to see or highlight an email when you receive lots of email.

  13. Hi Kevin,
Can you help me with a video where I can get desktop notification for new email under sub folders of my inbox (OWA). I miss important email because of creating rules.

  14. I just discovered your channel and it's very helpful so keep it up. Can you please do a video on how-to organize Outlook, folders, rules, clutter, color coding, tasks, etc.
On a side note when is the option to select which email recipients get an attachment and which are copied fyi only going to be in Outlook?

  15. Kevin we are working with 36 people in the same Outlook box can you make a video what the best way is to organize that ? And how too find email back from custormers

  16. Excellent tutorial Kevin.

On my Surface Pro 6, I have Windows 10. I have use Outlook for quite some time. But recently I am confronting some dificulties.

    1. Is there any way of reinstalling Outlook from scratch?
    2. Under Outlook, I have 3 accounts: Hotmail, Gmail and my IMAP account for bussiness. All my messages from the IMAP account, are showing duplicated on my Outlook Acoount.
    3. Is there a way to set the ribbon to default settings? I dont see the category icon, nor the One Note icon. I have tried to customize the ribbon to no avail.

    Cordially.

  17. Nice video, thanks! I’d like to see a video about when I should use teams, e-mail and SharePoint. Moreover, how should the Teams channel structure should look like?

  18. Great Videos Kevin! Have you done one that includes Using Planner in Teams? That would be great to see! I'm fumbling though it. Viewing assigned cards and having individuals "complete" cards assigned to multiple individuals -makes it seem like individual cards are the best way to go, but it seems there should be a way for individuals to complete their portion of the card without the whole card showing "completed" -does that make sense?

  19. Het Kevin!! Like your vids and think they are really informative. As an it pro focusing in Microsoft 365 migrations en user training and collaboration capabilities in Microsoft 365 I always keep a lookout for good training material. Yours is good end user training though sadly not in my language. Also I have a question. What is your position at Microsoft? And why do they make you disclose your employee status in every video?
