Lots of Indians getting excited thinking that the our festival Holi is getting celebrated globally. No, this so called 'Festival of Colors' organized in western world is a shining example of the cultural appropriation. It's purely commercialized event and there is nothing 'Holy' about it. Western world is simply repackaging an Indian tradition and marketing it as the new form of drug parties. If you check their event page, the organizers don't even mention that they have stolen this idea from an Indian/Hindu festival. And a question to those woke Hindu libtards – If Holi is not a Hindu festival, then what is Holika Dahan and from where the name Holi comes?

While its beautiful. But you should know that its the festival of colors HOLI, not a colour party. Indians follow lunar calendar & thus it falls in march, rarely in feb end or april start.
