  2. I accidentally deleted some windows registry files along with some 3rd party software registry and my machine did not boot. I was so worried I had important files in my desktop so I couldn't think of reinstalling windows. This video came to rescue me. Thank you so much.

  3. Thanking somuch britec..I had a one windows login startup issue by removed regedit file. I was taken a backup of only that single folder but was not fixed by cmp prompt. your video help me to solve that issue. thanking for your sharing.

  4. +Britec09 I wonder if this will work in my situation. I have a desktop with Windows 7 64 Professional that I use for making music and recordings, which was custom-built for me in 2011, and a couple weeks ago, I accidentally deleted a couple registry values that I probably shouldn't have, as I was trying to figure out why my internal DVD/CD Rom Drive is not showing up in my computer, Disk Management, or even Device Manager. That seems rather strange, because it shows up in BIOS. I was also trying to bring back DMA Mode on all of my DVD/CD ROM Drives and Disk Drives, as one of them is stuck in PIO mode. I was also trying to figure out what was causing latency on my machine, thinking there's a good chance that modifying something in the registry might speed it up. I was deleting registry values that said UpperFilters and LowerFilters, and I guess I must have made it so that now my computer won't boot. It says, "Windows failed to start, A recent hardware or software change might be the problem. The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible.". My sighted friend, Markus Johnson (yes, that's "Markus" with a "K", not a "C"), sat with me yesterday for an hour, trying to figure out what was going on. We went into the BIOS and changed the boot order, thinking that might be what's going on. That didn't change anything. We tried pressing enter on "Start Windows Normally", but that just brought us back to the restart screen and the BIOS. Now I wonder if we'll have to reinstall Windows completely. I don't want to have to do that, since this would be about the seventh time I've had to do that on this machine since 2015! The place where I must have deleted the value by accident and made the machine unbootable was "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlClass{4D36E967-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318", the one that says, "Disk Drives". This brings up my question. Can Markus and I restore the registry values in Command Prompt via the BIOS? If so, how would we do this? Every time we go into Startup Repair, it seems to do this endless cycle of restarts. What do I do next? Is there a way for someone blind like me to do this when my screenreader can't access the BIOS?

  5. I followed your other video and created a backup registry of my working registry on c drive In a folder named backup how do I restore the registry and replace the current one with the backup from the "backup" folder on C drive?

  6. I had a problem with a lot of risks of losing 2TB files on my server, but fortunately with your method it works very well I recovered my machine, thank you 1000 times
