DOLLAR THAI BAHT Exchange Rate 1981-2019

THAI BAHT US DOLLAR Exchange Rate 19812019
If you travel to Thailand in 2019 you will see that your money isn’t worth as much as it used to be. There have been years with fabulous exchange rates. And by fabulous I mean you got more than 40 Baht for 1 US Dollar. 2019 is different. 2019 is worse. Some people consider canceling their annual Thailand trip because it is too expensive. That’s bad for tourists, bad for tourism, bad for Thailand‘s economy. And the media covers that issue intensively. But is it really that bad? I mean: Is the current exchange rate the worst ever? To find out the truth I checked the data of the Federal Reserve. That’s the central bank of the United States of America. The people of the Federal Reserved provide us with every Baht/Dollar exchange rate since 1981. As this video is uploaded on the last day of november 2019 I checked the exchange rates of every last day of November since 1981. And then I made a little visualization in Adobe Photoshop to show you how the exchange rate has changend over the years. I bet you will be surprised…

How to exchange and withdraw Thai Bahts in Thailand? (ATM, cards, fees, currency exchanges)

Don’t be lazy and check 34 currency exchanges, because there might be huge difference between the exchange rates and fees they are offering.
To withdraw money from your credit card in Thailand might be expensive and consists of 3 parts: fixed fee for local ATM, your card’s fixed fee and your card’s % from the amount.
Tips:
1) For daily goods in shopping centers you can pay with your credit/debit card;
2) For cash is better to exchange in currency exchanges, just find the best currency exchange first;
3) Withdraw from ATMs only when you need more money or you don’t have US dollars or other foreign currency with you.
