I did not really understood what have you done at min 9:14 (vi /etc/hosts/).. you've pasted the registry url and that is all?! it is a bit confusing, where do I paste it, what line? does it matter? are there any spaces / tabs in there? I would like to see a "cat" of hosts with the change in side.
    Btw, my GitLab does not have DNS (neither SSL) so I am ignoring those steps, but instead of the DNS I am using the IP of the server + registry, e.g.: http://registry.123.123.123.123 — should that work? I cannot create the DNSs as that is maintained by other people who are not willing to do that (at least not now). We're trying to set this up in a test environment (GitLab works but now I need the Registry – which I am trying to set up).

    Please help/advise.
