\”Cô gái đẹp\” SHB Finance đã chính thức được SHB bán 100% vốn cho ngân hàng Thái Lan. \”Gà đẻ trứng vàng\” FE Credit trước đó bán 50% vốn cũng gây xôn xao dư luận.
Đồng loạt bán \”cô gái đẹp\”, \”gà đẻ trứng vàng\”
Hôm qua (25/8), SHB đã ký kết các thỏa thuận chuyển nhượng vốn điều lệ tại Công ty Tài Chính TNHH MTV Ngân hàng TMCP Sài Gòn Hà Nội (SHB Finance) cho Ngân hàng TNHH Đại chúng Ayudhya (Krungsri) của Thái Lan thành viên chiến lược thuộc Tập đoàn MUFG Nhật Bản.
Đại diện SHB cho biết, khi hai bên đáp ứng các yêu cầu theo quy định pháp luật và đạt được sự chấp thuận của Ngân hàng Nhà Nước Việt Nam cũng như cơ quan quản lý có liên quan của Việt Nam, Thái Lan và Nhật Bản, ngân hàng sẽ chuyển nhượng 50% vốn điều lệ của SHB Finance cho Krungsri và sẽ tiếp tục chuyển nhượng 50% vốn còn lại sau 3 năm.
Giá trị thương vụ không được tiết lộ nhưng phía SHB cho biết thỏa thuận sẽ đem lại nguồn thặng dư vốn đáng kể cho cổ đông cũng như nâng cao năng lực tài chính và vị thế của ngân hàng. Trong khi đó, đại diện của Krungsri từng chia sẻ với tờ Nikkei Asia cho biết ngân hàng này sẽ chi 5,1 tỷ baht Thái, tương đương 156 triệu USD cho thương vụ, tức tương đương hơn 3.500 tỷ đồng.
Đầu quý II vừa qua, VPBank đã bán thành công 49% vốn FE Credit cho Công ty Tài chính tiêu dùng SMBC (SMBCCF) công ty con do SMBC sở hữu 100% vốn. Trong thương vụ này, FE Credit được định giá 2,8 tỷ USD (tương đương với số tiền mà VPBank có thể thu về gần 32.000 tỷ đồng).
Không chỉ SHB, VPBank, nhiều ngân hàng Việt cũng đã bán hoặc lên kế hoạch bán vốn, thậm chí thoái toàn bộ vốn tại các công ty tài chính. Trong đó, MB, HDBank bán 49% vốn còn Techcombank bán 100%; đối tác chủ yếu là định chế tài chính đến từ Hàn Quốc, Nhật Bản.
Như vậy, thương vụ của SHB có thể là thương vụ mua bán công ty tài chính tiêu dùng có giá trị cao thứ hai tại Việt Nam (sau VPBank). Techcombank từng bán 100% công ty tài chính Techcombank Finance năm 2017 nhưng ước tính chỉ thu về được 1.700 tỷ đồng.
Đề cập tới thương vụ chuyển nhượng 100% vốn SHB Finance cho Ngân hàng TNHH Đại chúng Ayudhya (Krungsri) của Thái Lan, ông Đỗ Quang Hiển Chủ tịch SHB cho hay, thị trường tài chính tiêu dùng tại Việt Nam giàu tiềm năng và dư địa tăng trưởng lớn. SHB Finance là một \”cô gái đẹp\”, có sức khỏe tài chính lành mạnh. SHB Finance sau hơn 3 năm hoạt động đã phủ rộng tại thị trường 46 tỉnh, thành phố; có gần 300.000 khách hàng vay và được Moody’s xếp hạng tín nhiệm B3 triển vọng \”ổn định\”.
Còn theo ông Seiichiro Akita Chủ tịch kiêm CEO Krungsri thì chính kinh nghiệm và mạng lưới rộng khắp Việt Nam của SHB cùng với sức mạnh của Krungsri trong lĩnh vực tài chính tiêu dùng sẽ cộng hưởng để nâng cao năng lực cạnh tranh trong kinh doanh của SHB Finance. \”Sự kiện quan trọng này cũng nhấn mạnh cam kết của chúng tôi đối với Chiến lược mở rộng thị trường ASEAN theo kế hoạch kinh doanh trung hạn trong giai đoạn 20212023\”, ông Seiichiro Akita nói.
Còn với VPBank, trước việc bán thành công 49% vốn FE Credit cho Công ty Tài chính tiêu dùng SMBC (SMBCCF), dư luận từng đặt câu hỏi liệu có phải \”gà đẻ trứng vàng\” đã hết thời? Lãnh đạo VPBank cho biết thương vụ này không có nghĩa VPBank từ bỏ \”gà đẻ trứng vàng\” mà vẫn tiếp tục coi tài chính tiêu dùng là một trong 3 trụ cột chiến lược quan trọng của ngân hàng.
Tại buổi gặp gỡ các nhà đầu tư gần đây, chia sẻ lý do lựa chọn SMBC là đối tác chiến lược của FE Credit, lãnh đạo VPBank cho hay, SMBC là tập đoàn tài chính hàng đầu Nhật Bản và khu vực châu Á Thái Bình Dương. SMBC cũng là ngân hàng có hoạt động tài chính tiêu dùng chuyên nghiệp, rất thành công. Bản thân SMBC cũng có công ty tài chính tiêu dùng lớn nhất tại Nhật Bản và hoạt động tài chính tiêu dùng hiệu quả ở nhiều quốc gia và vùng lãnh thổ như Ấn Độ, Trung Quốc, Hồng Kông, Thái Lan… Bởi vậy việc VPBank lựa chọn SMBC sẽ giúp FE Credit giữ vững và gia tăng vị thế hàng đầu.
Ước tính năm 2022, FE Credit sẽ đạt lợi nhuận 6.000 tỷ đồng, năm 2023 có mức tăng trưởng lợi nhuận 80% và duy trì tốc độ tăng trưởng này tới năm 2025. \”Dù chỉ còn sở hữu 50% vốn tại FE Credit, VPBank sẽ tiếp tục sở hữu nguồn lợi nhuận khổng lồ do công ty này mang lại\”, lãnh đạo VPBank kỳ vọng.

As an adult toy collector my imagination is still just as big if not bigger than when I was a kid and I get judged for it too, but I don’t care because I’m happy doing the things I truly love. Lack of money is something that pulls us away from our true passions as we work at jobs that take up most of our days and pays us just enough to get by, but not enough to strive. If you’re a creative person you probably find yourself daydreaming stories and ideas at work and writing or sketching on your breaks and you wish you just had more time to be the creative person you are. By the way, this is not a knock on jobs as traditional jobs are a great thing as they provide roofs over our heads and feed our bellies. I’m sure you’re familiar with the typical entrepreneur painting jobs out as the worst thing in the world. For some people jobs are the worst thing in the world and for others jobs are amazing as it builds people skills, friendships, work ethic, and there are many benefits to a job. Same with college for some people college is a waste of time as their parents pressured them to go. For others such as doctors, lawyers, engineers, concept artists, and so on college was a great investment that gave them amazing careers. This message is going to speak to some people more than others, but at the end of the day having more money will benefit most people and their lives tremendously.
